Jancey is an experienced teacher and instructional coach, focused on developing teacher strengths, building global PLNs, and inspiring a passion for learning. She is a frequent speaker and workshop presenter at both international and online conferences, and she is a steering committee member of an ASCD Connected Community and a founding member of NESA Core Collaborative.

As a Social Media Advocate for The Educator Collaborative, Jancey co-created and launched The Global KIND Project. Jancey also developed and launched The Professional Passion Project, to inspire teachers to pursue their educational passions and share their findings both locally and globally.

In addition to elementary and secondary education certification, Jancey holds a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.Ed from Walden University, and is certified as a Math Specialist in International Schools.
